Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of learning. This brings your subconscious to the forefront so you can achieve self-improvement, pain control or behavior modification. When in a state of hypnosis, you will feel calm and relaxed. A common misconception is that you will not be in control when you are engaging in hypnosis. This is not true. You are in complete control and completely aware of what is happening during the entire session. In fact, people go in and out of a trance state all the time. When you’re engrossed in a movie and lose track of time or when you are driving and realize you’ve reached your destination with no recollection of how you got there are examples of being in a trance state.
Regression therapy is a form of hypnotherapy where you are guided back to past events and engage in conversation to reshape your belief systems. A misconception is that you will change your memories. This is not true. Instead you will restructure your beliefs about past events so you can modify your current behaviors. Past life regression is a form of regression therapy where you are guided back to past lives. The best part about this form of therapy is that you don’t have to believe in past lives for it to be therapeutic. The subconscious is so powerful that even if your past life experience is “made up” you will still benefit exploring the implications of this experience.

This form of energy work facilitates the body's own innate ability to heal itself. Reiki is a great adjunct to Hypnotherapy and can be a transformative experience on your healing journey.
A lifelong believer in the mind's ability to heal oneself on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels, Rayne started her journey with Hypnosis over 25 years ago when she took her first self-hypnosis course. This course served as the stepping stone on her journey of holistic healing and served to aid her in realizing her passion for healing and wellness. While a Physical Therapist student at Northeastern University, Rayne studied Craniosacral Therapy, which fortified her passion for holistic healing and her firm belief in the body's innate ability to heal itself. From there, Rayne was led to Reiki, a journey that brought with it many tools to help clients heal and understand the ways the body holds emotions and trauma. Wanting to learn as much about Reiki as possible, Rayne went on to receive her Master's and Reiki teaching certifications. As a licensed Physical Therapist for over 20 years, Rayne has been able to incorporate these holistic practices into her work. She was always drawn towards chronic pain with the mind's interpretation and control over how that pain is perceived and managed through traditional methods, suggestions, and visualization. When she had her first child, she sought out hypnosis for childbirth. Experiencing pain-free, peaceful childbirth without medical intervention, solidified her belief in the power of hypnotherapy and aided her desire to learn more. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Rayne decided to return to her passion for hypnosis and healing and received her Hypnosis Practitioner certification. Her passion for this field led her to continue her Hypnosis training to learn the intricacies involved in regression work and earn her Hypnotherapy certification. Rayne is excited to combine her knowledge and experience as a Hypnotherapist, Physical Therapist, and Holistic practitioner to be a facilitator in assisting people to heal their physical, emotional, and spiritual lives.
